PRESIDENT

Jessica Hanna is a devoted mother of nine, including seven adopted children—her greatest joy and calling. Raised in a family deeply involved in foster care, she witnessed early on the impact of trauma on children and the power of stable, loving homes. After fostering for over a decade herself, Jessica has seen the lasting effects across generations and is passionate about helping children heal, thrive, and live joyful, productive lives. As co-founder of Fostering Change Washington, Jessica is committed to advocating for meaningful, systemic improvements in the foster care system. She is also the host of the Fostering Change podcast, Change the Story, where she amplifies the voices of those working tirelessly to protect and restore the lives of vulnerable children. 

VICE PRESIDENT

 Jennica Corry, a founding board member of Fostering Change Washington, is honored to rejoin the organization and support solutions-focused advocacy for children and families across the state. She brings experience in fundraising, membership development, and nonprofit governance, along with lived experience as a foster, adoptive, biological, and guardianship parent.

 Deeply committed to both her community and the well-being of children, Jennica is actively involved with local nonprofits, serves in her church, and homeschools her children.  Together with her husband, Chris, she seeks to live out God’s truth by caring for the vulnerable, promoting common-sense solutions, and upholding the value of the God-honoring family.

BOARD SECRETARY

Shannon is the Co-Founder of Fostering Change Washington. She brings more than two decades of experience in ministry, nonprofit leadership, business, and marketing, along with a deep commitment to strengthening families and advocating for vulnerable children. As a wife of 25 years and mother of five—including biological, adopted, and guardianship children—she offers both professional expertise and lived experience to the organization's mission.

 Grounded in her faith, Shannon is passionate about equipping churches, supporting families, and advocating for vulnerable children. She is honored to continue serving Fostering Change Washington through board leadership and a commitment to truth, compassion, and lasting change. 

TREASURER

Robb Paul is a Yakima-based entrepreneur, husband and father, who brings both personal conviction and practical experience to his role as Executive Secretary of Fostering Change Washington. Raised in Spokane Valley and now raising two sons with his wife Jenn, Robb’s early involvement in pro-life advocacy  has shaped his enduring commitment to protecting vulnerable children and defending life.

His goal with Fostering Change is to raise awareness about the critical need for safe, supportive environments for foster and adoptive children. Robb is passionate about removing the barriers that make it harder for families to welcome children in need. He believes our children are our future—and our most valuable investment.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

Jamie Williams is a former Labor and Delivery Nurse whose career caring for infants inspired her calling as a foster parent. For seven years, she and her husband have welcomed children into their home, focusing on drug-exposed newborns and children with complex medical needs. Her hospital experience, witnessing the fragility of life and impact of trauma, has shaped her approach to fostering and adoption.

On their ranch in Walla Walla, Washington, Jamie and her husband are raising three daughters with a mix of farm animals. She also serves as a School Board Director and board member of Keeping Kids SAFE. Passionate about blogging and advocacy, Jamie works to elevate voices, strengthen foster care, and create better opportunities for all children.
