EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Shannon is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Fostering Change Washington, where she leads with a deep love for Jesus, a heart for vulnerable children, and a bold commitment to truth and justice. A wife of 25 years and mom of five (three biological, one adopted, and one through guardianship), she brings over two decades of experience in ministry, nonprofit leadership, business, and marketing. Shannon blends strategic insight with Spirit-led conviction to equip families, engage churches, and advocate for those impacted by broken systems. Her leadership is marked by joy, creativity, and courage—driven by a genuine love for people and a passion to invite others into meaningful action. She believes real change begins when ordinary people say yes to the hard and holy work of protecting what matters most.

Jessica Hanna is a devoted mother of nine, including seven adopted children—her greatest joy and calling. Raised in a family deeply involved in foster care, she witnessed early on the impact of trauma on children and the power of stable, loving homes. After fostering for over a decade herself, Jessica has seen the lasting effects across generations and is passionate about helping children heal, thrive, and live joyful, productive lives. As co-founder of Fostering Change Washington, Jessica is committed to advocating for meaningful, systemic improvements in the foster care system. She is also the host of the Fostering Change podcast, Change the Story, where she amplifies the voices of those working tirelessly to protect and restore the lives of vulnerable children.

 Jennica Corry, a founding board member of Fostering Change Washington, is honored to rejoin the organization and support solutions-focused advocacy for children and families across the state. She brings experience in fundraising, membership development, and nonprofit governance, along with lived experience as a foster, adoptive, biological, and guardianship parent.

 Deeply committed to both her community and the well-being of children, Jennica is actively involved with local nonprofits, serves in her church, and homeschools her children.  Together with her husband, Chris, she seeks to live out God’s truth by caring for the vulnerable, promoting common-sense solutions, and upholding the value of the God-honoring family.

 Mary Broussard, a previous board member at FCW, is a wife and mother of eight, including four children adopted from state care. She holds a BA from Auburn University and an MDiv from Gateway Seminary. As Executive Director of Madison House Youth Center, Mary has spent the past 12 years serving vulnerable people with trauma, focused on understanding ACES and their impact on children. She brings extensive experience in community engagement and nonprofit development, building safe, loving, and faith-centered environments that nurture youth, strengthen families, and help children grow in confidence and purpose. Her work guides them away from drug, gang, and criminal activity toward brighter, hopeful futures filled with opportunity, love, and promise.

Robb Paul is a Yakima-based entrepreneur, husband and father, who brings both personal conviction and practical experience to his role as Executive Secretary of Fostering Change Washington. Raised in Spokane Valley and now raising two sons with his wife Jenn, Robb’s early involvement in pro-life advocacy  has shaped his enduring commitment to protecting vulnerable children and defending life.

His goal with Fostering Change is to raise awareness about the critical need for safe, supportive environments for foster and adoptive children. Robb is passionate about removing the barriers that make it harder for families to welcome children in need. He believes our children are our future—and our most valuable investment.

Jamie Williams is a former Labor and Delivery Nurse whose career caring for infants inspired her calling as a foster parent. For seven years, she and her husband have welcomed children into their home, focusing on drug-exposed newborns and children with complex medical needs. Her hospital experience, witnessing the fragility of life and impact of trauma, has shaped her approach to fostering and adoption.

On their ranch in Walla Walla, Washington, Jamie and her husband are raising three daughters with a mix of farm animals. She also serves as a School Board Director and board member of Keeping Kids SAFE. Passionate about blogging and advocacy, Jamie works to elevate voices, strengthen foster care, and create better opportunities for all children.

After a 30-year research career at Boeing, Lynn and her husband, Henry, dedicated their lives to fostering Washington’s most vulnerable children—primarily drug-affected infants in Pierce County. Together, they raised four grown children, adopted their 6-year-old son, and now cherish ten grandchildren.

Lynn’s passion for children’s safety, combined with her research expertise, ensures FCW presents accurate data and truthful stories. She is committed to making sure no child is overlooked and every child can grow up safe, valued and loved.

  For nearly two decades, Mike has dedicated his life to helping survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, many facing homelessness and addiction. As an adoptive father of eight, he brings both personal and professional insight, grounded in trauma-informed care. He has led nonprofits serving vulnerable populations with compassion and excellence and founded Climbing Out of Homelessness, which has taken 43 “recovery climbers” to Mt. Rainier, featured in the award-winning film,

"A New High." 

His guiding truth: “God does not make disposable people.”

Dave is a trusted news radio host and seasoned communicator, known in Central Washington for thoughtful engagement on civic, cultural, and political issues. With 20+ years in TV journalism and  talk radio, he brings clarity and credibility. A U.S. Army veteran and former Yakima City Council member, Dave has also led in education, curriculum, and nonprofit work. Through Scholars of American Liberty, he promotes patriotism, civic responsibility, and constitutional literacy. On our Advisory Committee, he lends insight, public voice, and a commitment to protecting children and families.
